Neil jointly founded BTG with Steve Harris in 2001 after they worked together in a NZ dotcom project. Neil oversees all operational team elements within BTG.

Neil’s background prior was a range of construction related projects. This background has allowed Neil to leverage that sectors operational and project maturity into the, by comparison, completely unregulated world of IT.

Technology at its base level is not that different to construction, it’s about labour and material elements being designed, built and operated to satisfy customer needs. There are often common elements, just like construction, all IT solutions have elements that are unique and it is customer uniqueness and ever-changing technical elements that keeps the work challenging and interesting.
